Welcome to Morocco's Newest Community Hub

Named in honor of Chris LaCosse, this 5-acre multigenerational park is designed to improve the health and well-being of our residents. Whether you are looking for a high-intensity outdoor workout, a peaceful stroll through nature, or a place to read with your children, Chris LaCosse Park has something for everyone.

"This park represents a collective investment in our future—bringing together fitness, literacy, and the beauty of Newton County."

Story Walk

Enjoy a rotating children’s story every 6–8 weeks, perfect for a nature walk with your little ones.

Listen to an interview with Educator at Purdue Extension in Newton County, Deb Arsenau, prior to the ribbon cutting.  She also talks about organizations who provided funding for the multi-generational park, what the park has to offer, and about choosing the name for the area.
